SKYLINE AT DAWN Handmade modern throw quilt 60 by 70 inches

Bold, graphic, and one-of-a-kind, Skyline at Dawn is a modern handmade quilt made with improv pieced blocks and ombre shading. I crafted this striking, unique quilt from upcycled fabric scraps plus a shaded ombre fabric that flows from yellow to orange to purple – an abstract interpretation of sunrise in the city. This quilt will look great thrown over the back of your couch or hanging on the wall.

I stitched parallel lines across the width of the quilt, giving it a lush texture, crinkled appearance, and easy drape.  Unbleached cotton batting provides lightweight warmth. The reverse side is a freeform composition using more of the ombre fabric along with shades of purple.  The binding was attached securely with machine stitching for durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Measuring 70 inches across by 60 inches tall, this quilt works beautifully as a throw, wall hanging, or statement piece for your bed or couch.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions
