TOPAZ SUPERNOVA King or queen size quilt 99 by 99 inches

The extraordinary fabric at the center of this dramatic handmade quilt is called Supernova and it is the inspiration for the palette of this stunning king size quilt.  I carefully selected coordinating cotton solids in topaz, lemon, herb, moss and charcoal tones to echo the expanding rays of color in the center. This quilt is just as eye-catching in person as it is in the photos and the warmth of the yellows and greens creates a sophisticated color combination.   At 99 by 99 inches, this quilt will fit a king or queen size bed. For reference, the bed in the listing photos is queen size.

The reverse side uses the same fabrics as the front with large color blocks of yellow and green with pieced linear accents. Using a golden thread, I stitched a modern chain square quilting design across the width of the quilt, giving it an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush textured feel. Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth. The binding was attached securely with machine stitching.  All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
