PROTON 2 Modern throw quilt 57 by 62 inches

This handmade modern throw quilt has a plus sign design and an eclectic collection of colors and designer prints.  Simple squares are arranged to form interlocking plus signs or crosses.  I used a variety of designer prints with varied patterns: feathers, buildings, bubbles, blurred prism, ovals, flowers, plaid, geometric shapes.  The colors include white, purple, red, blush, pink, blue, teal, green, yellow, and orange. Use this bright, contemporary throw in your living room, bedroom, patio, or reading nook or as a travel blanket in your car or RV.

I used silver thread to stitch a pipeline pattern across the quilt, giving it an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush, textured feel. Unbleached cotton batting provides lightweight warmth.  The reverse side of the quilt has a print depicting a village scene with buildings, plants, terraces and windows.   This same print was used for the binding, which was attached securely with two rounds of machine stitching for durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
