LEMON SORBET Handmade throw quilt 61 by 61 inches

This contemporary throw quilt features a variety of print fabrics with geometric and floral patterns.  The eclectic palette includes yellow, pink, purple, teal, gray, red, green and orange. Fabric patterns include dots, stripes, florals, topographic lines, and hexagons.  These varied patterns and colors enhance the charm of the interwoven diamond design.  The background is a solid cotton in lemon ice. The variety of prints and the bold color make this quilt a perfect addition to your modern, bohemian or traditional home – living room, bedroom, patio or reading nook.

Using gold thread, I stitched a circle and line circuit pattern across the quilt, giving it an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush, textured feel. Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth. The reverse side features one of the prints from the front – a yellow modern floral, plus some improv piecing. The binding in gold was attached securely with two rounds of machine stitching to guarantee a lifetime of durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
