BRIGHT SPOT Modern art wall quilt 22 by 19.5 inches

This vibrant quilted wall hanging was designed, cut, pieced, quilted and bound by me. This original design features an abstract grid with a striking contrast between a luminous center and a deeply toned outer border. The middle section is composed of soft, pastel-toned squares arranged in a gentle gradient, creating a glowing, almost mosaic-like effect. Surrounding it is a bold frame of darker, saturated hues—purples, greens, blues, and burgundies—that grounds the piece and enhances the brightness of the center.

I used a variegated thread to stitch an angled diamond design across the surface of the quilt, adding another layer of visual interest and lush texture.

The back of the mini quilt has rod pockets sewn in all four corners, so you can hang on the wall in four different orientations. You will need a wooden dowel (round or flat slat) cut to the appropiate length. Simply tuck the ends of the dowel into the top corner pockets and hang on the wall by setting the dowel on small nails or pushpins. Mini quilt art measures approximately 22 by 19.5 inches. Fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.

After construction, the wall quilt was machine washed in cold, tumbled dry on low for 5 minutes, then removed from the dryer while partially damp and laid flat to air dry. If you continue this care, no further shrinkage will occur.
