TRENDING INDIGO Handmade modern throw quilt 64 by 64 inches

Bold, graphic, and one-of-a-kind, Trending Indigo is a modern handmade quilt with movement, contrast, and color. I crafted this striking and quirky quilt from upcycled fabric scraps plus a beautiful indigo wash fabric with an organic marbled look. This quilt features a dynamic grid of indigo blocks—each framing a vibrant, jewel-toned square—set against a richly textured improv patchwork background. The striking diagonal composition gives it a sense of energy and flow.

I used blue variegated thread to stitch parallel lines across the surface of the quilt. This stitching gives the quilt a lush texture, crinkled appearance, and easy drape.  Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth. The reverse side is a dark blue solid.  The binding in indigo was attached securely with machine stitching for durability. All fabrics and batting are premium 100% cotton.
