MESA Oversized throw quilt 76 by 77 inches

This quilt has a bold, mid-century inspired design using dramatic ombres from the Sky fabric collection by Jennifer Sampou for Robert Kaufman. These gorgeous ombres have a unique “painterly” appearance which gives the quilt sophisticated appeal.  The contrasting shading of the ombre fabrics gives a flow of light and color across the quilt.  The moody palette includes shades of green, yellow, peach, pink, blue, and purple.  This modern, oversized throw quilt will be right at home in your rustic, traditional, or modern home. Perfectly sized for living room, patio or as a topper for a twin or full size bed.

The reverse side is made with an ombre from the same fabric collection.  I stitched parallel lines along the length of the quilt, giving it an easy drape, crinkled appearance, and a lush, textured feel. Unbleached cotton batting gives the quilt lightweight warmth.  The binding in green/yellow ombre was attached securely with machine stitching for durability.

Care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it to its final dimensions.
